Rep. Madaro ‘honored’ by his nomination in the primary

Rep. Adrian Madaro was unopposed in the Mass. House of Representatives First Suffolk District Democratic primary Sept. 3.

There is no Republican opponent for the seat in the November election.

Madaro has served as East Boston’s state representative since 2015 when he won a special election. He has been unopposed in each of the ensuing biennial elections since that time.

“I am incredibly honored to have been chosen by the voters of East Boston in last week’s primary to continue my work as our neighborhood’s state representative,” said Madaro. “I look forward to continuing to engage with residents and hope to earn their vote again in November.”
