Helen Molbeck

Longtime East Boston Resident

Helen V. (Corcoran) Molbeck, 78, beloved sister and aunt, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 14.

The oldest of six children, she was known for her big heart and generous spirit. She was an avid reader who enjoyed her neighbors and community.  She was an amazing aunt who loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, be it playing games, sleepovers, going shopping, taking trips or just talking on the phone.  

Helen was proud to be an operator for the telephone company and communication specialist for an engineering company for many years.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, John Corcoran, Helen and David Dedrick, her brother, David Dedrick and sister, Ann Marie Corcoran. She is survived by her siblings: Daniel Dedrick, Donna Dedrick Nam, Mary Dedrick, 12 nieces and nephews, and five grandnieces and grandnephews. 

Helen was a beloved part of her family and will be greatly missed. Donations in her memory can be sent to Shriners Children’s or St Jude Children’s Research Hospitals.

Leonard Ciulla 

Of East Boston

Leonard Ciulla  of East Boston, died unexpectedly on November 12.  Beloved husband of the late Linda (Babine). Son of Marie (Doucette) of East Boston and the late Leonard “Leo” Ciulla.

Father of Danyelle, Vincent, Carla and the late Jaclyn Ciulla. Grandfather of Anthony Ciulla, Nicholas Manfra and Nico Bitopoulos.

Brother of Marie Moscone of Saugus and the late Joseph and John Ciulla. Companion of Patricia McCarthy.  Also survived by three generations of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] East Boston, Monday morning, November 21, at 10 AM.  Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday, November 20, 4 – 7 PM.

Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
