Joseph Giuliano

His Presence Will Be Greatly Missed but He Will Forever Be Loved by His Entire Family

Joseph “Joe” Giuliano died at Boston Medical Center on Wednesday, August 17 surrounded by the comfort and love of his family, following a six-year battle with cancer. He was 56 years old.

His funeral was conducted on Tuesday, August 23 from Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St., Revere followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere and entombment at Woodlawn Sheffield Mausoleum, Everett.

Joe was born in Winthrop on January 2,1966 to his late parents, Angelo and Elena (Christoforo) Giuliano. He was raised in East Boston, educated in Boston Public Schools and was a graduate of East Boston High School, Class of 1985.

Joe knew his calling at a young age and began to work for his uncle, Sal Giugliano at “Giugliano Corp.” He began as a laborer and worked his way up to supervisor. Joe was an extremely hard worker and he did everything with skill and pride. He was forced to retire in 2018, due to his health. 

Joe was completely devoted to his family; he loved them all unconditionally. Joe married his wife, “Pina” and they raised their two sons in Malden. He enjoyed camping in the outdoors and he loved motorcycles. He was also a very affectionate animal lover, especially dogs. His presence will be greatly missed but he will forever be loved by his entire family.

The beloved husband of 25 years to Giuseppina “Pina” (Errico) Giuliano of Malden, he was the loving father of Michael Angelo Giuliano and Roberto Antonio Giuliano, both of Malden, the cherished brother of Maria Serretta and her husband, Edward “Ted”, Lucy K. Giuliano and Adrian A. Giuliano, all of Revere, Flora Tella and her husband, Ralph of Malden, Elisabeth Giuliano  and Robert Giuliano, both of Revere. He Is also lovingly survived by his canine girl, “Penny” and several nieces and nephews.

Worked and Volunteered at the Don Orione Home

Anna Pagliuca of East Boston passed away on August 19. 

Anna worked and volunteered at the Don Orione Home in East Boston.

The devoted mother of the late Rosamaria DelVecchio and Ciriaco DelVecchio, she was the beloved daughter of Ezecchia Pagliuca and the late Rosina (Iantosca)  Pagliuca, dear sister of Antonio Pagliuca and his late wife, Rosetta of East Boston; cherished aunt of Rosana, Angela, Tonia Pagliuca, Nick Varano and his wife, Michelle and adored great aunt of Nico, Marina Varano and Kevin Boyd and Special Godmother of Daniel Franzese and Reina Guerra. 

Family and friends will honor Anna’s life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, East Boston today, Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m. before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, East Boston for a 10 a.m. Mass celebrating Anna’s life. Robert F. Emmett

Of Chelsea, formerly of East Boston

Robert F. Emmett of Chelsea, formerly of East Boston, died on August 3, his 64th birthday. 

Robert was born in Revere and raised in East Boston.  He attended the Manassah Bradley School, Chevrus School and Brighton High School.  After graduation, he joined the US Coast Guard and served for a term of four years.

The beloved son of Francis D. Emmett Sr. of East Boston and the late Carol E. (Clark) Emmett, he was the brother of Francis D. Emmett Jr. of East Boston and the late Lynne Emmett-Mosely and the uncle of Olivia and Francis D. Emmett III. Robert is also survived by his aunts, Kathy Hanlon, Patricia Bouvier and Terry LaBonte and several cousins.

Memorial visiting will be held on Thursday, August 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] East Boston. John Francis Jevoli Sr.

Of East Boston

John Francis Jevoli Sr., of East Boston, passed away on August 21, 2022. Loving son of Kathleen (Dobrisky) and the late Francis Jevoli Sr. Devoted father of John Francis Jevoli Jr. of New York. Cherished brother of Francis Jevoli and Paul Jevoli, both of East Boston. Also survived by his loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and his late nephew Jason Jevoli. A memorial mass will be held at Saint Joseph – Saint Lazarus Church, East Boston on Saturday, September 3rd at 10 A.M.
