A young East Boston resident takes a turn getting a kite off the ground during the Harborkeepers annual Maritime Beach Festival in partnership with the US Coast Guard Sector Boston.
The event Friday featured face-painting, free kayaking, a sand castle contest, scavenger hunt and many more engaging and fun things to do.
