Looking for an outdoor dining option for Memorial Day weeked? Well, Pazza and Porter will have you covered.
Owners of Pazza have turned their parking lot into an oasis inspired by the outdoor patios that line the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast.
Beginning Memorial Day weekend patrons can soak in the warm weather with some socially distanced drinks and food at Pazza’s new Jack’s Abby Beer Garden. The new Beer Garden will be serving up several of Jack’s Abby’s crafted beers and other treats all summer long.
“Opening Saturday, May 29 on Memorial Day Weekend, the Jack’s Abby Beer Garden is part of Pazza On Porter’s recently opened, Amalfi Coast-inspired patio covering 600 square feet for everyone to safely socially distance while enjoying delicious Italian-American Cuisine,” said owners Mivan Spencer and Raffaele Scalzi in a statement. “The beer garden will offer a collection of signature appetizers and desserts including buffalo wings, fried calamari, arancini, an assortment of cannolis and more.”
Pazza opened in the fall of 2019 to rave reviews from Eastie residents and has been doing its share to help out frontline healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Spencer and Scalzi of the Boston Amici Group teamed up with Tenure England Vodka to feed exhausted and hungry staff at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center (EBNHC) during the height of the pandemic and participated in other community relief efforts throughout the past year.
Located in the same spot as Sablone’s, and later Ecco, Pazza on Porter commemorates old Eastie with their private dining room that features the Sablone’s signature wall–something Ecco owners preserved when they took over the restaurant. Notable signatures on the wall range from Ted Williams and Bobby Orr to Diana Ross and Steven Tyler.
In addition to their beloved dishes like the Fried Burrata and Alla Pazza pasta, the restaurant is offering a wide variety of new menu items to pair with the opening of their new patio and beer garden.
