Spring Clean-Up on the Greenway

The Friends of the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway met with neighborhood volunteers in the community recently for a spring clean up of the Greenway. The group met at the Greenway’s Gove Street Crossing and made their way around various parts of the park for several hours picking up trash and debris. The group also planted flowers around the public open space as well as mulched tree pits and added new soil around flower beds.
