The body found floating off Border Street in East Boston last week has been identified as a man wanted in connection with a Lynn homicide earlier this month.
Douglas Guevara’s body was fished out of the Harbor last Friday morning near the 400 block of Border Street.
Guevara was the main suspect in the stabbing death of his cousin’s wife in Lynn on Oct. 11.
Ann Morin, 63, was found stabbed to death in her West Neptune Street home. Police did not believe the stabbing was random and began eyeing Guevara as a suspect.
It’s unclear how Guevara ended up dead in the Harbor and police are still investigating whether Guevara was a victim of foul play himself or decided to take his own life as authorities closed in on him.
