The following story ran incorrectly in the August 7 issue. Here is the corrected version. – The EBMHL hosted the annual Bash on the Beach Tournament, July 26-28. Seven Teams, playing three games prior to play-offs. The tournament was organized by Dom DiMarzo and John Poto and was a huge success. The teams were sponsored by, Sunshine Landscaping, Reel House, SLUGGO, INC., Ruggiero Funeral Home, Kelly’s Square Pub, Century 21, National Guard. Donations were also made by Milano’s Deli, Woodys Liquors and Little Asia. These generous donors are acknowledged for their endless contributions to this and other community events that made the East Boston Community one of a kind and family oriented.
Saturday afternoon the “bash” was held behind Porazzo Rink on the beach, everyone enjoyed the games being played inside and the delicious BBQ that was served to all players and their families and spectators. Sunday the final games were played, after the dust settled it came down to two, Sunshine Landscaping vs Kelly’s Square Pub. In the end it was Sunshine Landscaping won 9-2, to become the “Bash on the Beach” 2019 Champions. Sunshine Landscaping has bragging rights for the year, but everyone had a great time on and
