Florence Ciampa

Revere Red Hat Society Member and NE Tel & Tel Retiree

Florence (Tripari) Ciampa of Malden, formerly of East Boston, passed away on July 27. She was 85 years old. 

Florence was a late employee of the New England Telephone Co and a member of the Red Hat Society in Revere.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Simone and Alphonsina (Larchiuta) Tripari, beloved wife of the late Raphael “Ray Ray” Ciampa, loving mother of Maureen Connolly and her husband, Jack of Reading, Steven Ciampa and his companion, Danielle McIver of Malden, and Paul Ciampa and his wife, Kelly of Pelham, NH; dear sister of Anthony Tripari and his wife, Betty of Peabody and the late Christopher Colizzi and Gina Paone and adored grandmother of Kaitlyn, Jillian, Kevin and Cassandra McIver and Raphael Ciampa. She is also survived by her sister in law, Elena Fabiano of Revere and by many loving nieces and nephews. She was also the sister in law of the late Barbara Wixon.

Family and friends will honor Florence’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach Street, Revere today, Wednesday, July 31 from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. Thursday before leaving in procession to the Immaculate Conception Church in Revere for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in her honor at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Forestdale Cemetery in Malden.

Giuseppe “Joe” De Tursi

Of East Boston

Giuseppe “Joe” De Tursi of East Boston died in Boston on Sunday, July 28 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 91.

Born in Strongoli, Italy, Giuseppe is survived by his caring wife, Laura, his two sisters, Eugenia and Rosina in Italy, both Roman-Catholic nuns. He was the beloved father of Rosalba Napolitano and her husband, Stephen of Westwood, Pasquale De Tursi and his wife, Michele of Arlington, Domenica Corrado and her husband, Paul of Lynnfield and Adriana Nastari and her husband, Edward of Lynnfield. He was the loving grandfather of Sebastian Napolitano, Maria Barrette and her husband, Gregory, Stephen Napolitano, Jr. and his wife, Courtney, Christopher Corrado, Catherine Corrado, Maximus Nastari and Giuliana Nastari and the adored  great-grandfather of Brianna Leigh Napolitano and Luca Giuseppe Barrette.  

Visitation from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St, Revere, today, Wednesday, July 31 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church, 250 Revere St., Revere at 12 noon.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Stephen Frye

His Greatest Love and Devotion Was For His God, “Jesus Christ”     

Stephen G. Frye of Lawrence, formerly of Revere, passed away peacefully on July 23 after suffering a stroke while on vacation with his family in New Hampshire.

Stephen loved his weekend rides with his motorcycle buddies as well as playing his music but his greatest love and devotion was for his GOD “JESUS CHRIST” and now he sits next to him at his table every day. May he rest in peace.

He was the beloved husband of Lisa (Mazzare Mlla) Frye, devoted father of Rachel, Seth and Sarah, loving son of George Jr and Rosina (Leone) Frye and dear brother of Georgia Caggiano and Gregory Frye. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and the family pet rabbit “Miffy”.

Funeral arrangements were by the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home (Orient Heights) East Boston. Services concluded with Stephen being laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery.
