Letter to the Editor

You will always be with us

Dear Editor:

On February 6, we lost a special person to our program, Brenton Lembo. This young man brought so much spirit to the program on and off the field. His love for the game and the Pop Warner family was incredible. Despite all that he was going through in personal life, he always found time for our program and was at every event and fundraiser, always willing to lend a hand no matter the situation. He attended every game, in rain, snow, and sunshine and became family to our players and coaches. We recently recognized his big heart at our annual banquet, where he received a trophy for his role on the coaching staff and certificates from our elected officials acknowledging his contribution to the youth of our community. Brenton was very proud of these accomplishments and we were so proud to have him recognized for his work. Brenton is survived by his mother Karen Lembo, a very loving and caring mother who accompanied Brenton to every function and game. On behalf of the entire Pop Warner family, we want to thank Karen for sharing her son, Brenton with us. Brenton Lembo – we will always love you and you will always be with us. Thank you and may you rest in peace.

Adjie Burnett

Vice President of the East Boston Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading Program.
