Rep Madaro Continues Eastie’s Elves Tradition

We join the East Boston community in thanking State Rep. Adrian Madaro for his decision to serve as the host of the Annual Eastie’s Elves fundraiser, continuing a tradition started by former state representative and state senator Anthony Petruccelli.

The Madaro Family Charitable Fund will host the event for the first time this Friday, Dec. 2 at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor Hotel in East Boston.

Mr. Petruccelli had hoped this successful event – which raises funds for a toy distribution drive for local children – would continue and Rep. Madaro answered the call in a big way by agreeing to organize and host this festive gathering.

Adrian Madaro has been a tremendous asset to East Boston residents as their voice in the Mass. House of Representatives. Rep. Madaro’s support of organizations throughout Eastie, attendance at local meetings and forums, and his office’s accessibility and constituents’ services have made us all proud of this rising star in the Legislature.

Rep. Madaro has also worked well with State Sen. Joseph Boncore and Boston City Councilor Sal LaMattina in providing Eastie the outstanding representation it has come to expect. He has developed a great working relationship with Speaker of the House Robert A. DeLeo and Mayor Martin Walsh.

We welcome the opportunity to express our gratitude to Rep. Madaro for hosting the 13th Annual Eastie Elves fundraiser Friday night and in future years to come.
