Carmella Palmieri

Former employee of Sky Chefs Logan Airport

Carmella (Scrima) Palmieri of East Boston, passed away March 12. She was 84 years old.

A former employee of Sky Chefs Logan Airport, she was the beloved wife of the late Thomas A. Palmieri; loving mother of Elaine Curtis and Joan Bonwith and her husband, Frank, both of East Boston; dear sister of Jean Mucci of Somerville, and the late Rose Ruggiero, Generoso Scrima, Mary Cammarata, Romona Mazzola, Annette Scrima and Joseph and Vincent Scrima; cherished grandmother of Thomas Enrico Curtis and his wife, Christine of Peabody and Corey Curtis and great grandmother of Frankie and Jackie Curtis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Carmella’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St. Revere today, Wednesday, March 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning before leaving in procession to the Most Holy Redeemer Church, East Boston for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in her name at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Mary Fringuelli

Of Lynnfield, formerly of East Boston

Mary (Chiarella) Fringuelli of Lynnfield, formerly of East Boston, passed away peacefully on March 12.

The beloved wife of the late Arpino Fringuelli, she was the devoted mother of Dominic and his wife, Diane, Robert and his wife, Linda, Richard and his wife, Karen and the late Florence O’Leary; dear sister of Tina Chiaremza and three pre-deceased brothers and two deceased sisters. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Mary’s life by gathering today, Wednesday, March 16 at Most Holy Redeemer Church, Maverick Street, East Boston for a Funeral Mass in celebration of her life. .Services will conclude with Mary being laid to rest with her beloved husband Arpino in Woodlawn Cemetery. May they both rest in peace.

Elizabeth M. (Scarfo) Russo of Revere, formerly of East Boston, died on March 9.

The daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (Pulisciano) Scarfo, she was the beloved wife of the late Daniel J. Russo; loving mother of Daniel Russo of East Boston, Kevin Russo and his wife, Veronica of Florida and Derek Russo and his wife, Danielle of East Boston; cherished grandmother of Deandra, Domenic, Dario and Dante Russo and dear sister of Nicholas Scarfo and his late wife, Dianne of Salem, NH.

Charles A. Cavignano of East Boston passed away on March 7.

A member of Winthrop Elks Club and Jeffries Yacht Club East Boston, he was the beloved husband of Joanne (Morello) Cavignano; loving father of Michael and Christopher Cavignano, both of East Boston and the cherished grandfather of Alec Cavignano.

Luigi “Louie” Martiniello of Revere, formerly of East Boston, passed away on March 14.

He was the beloved husband of the late Emilia (Indresano); loving father of Orazio Martiniello and his wife, Diane of Saugus and Angela DiGregorio and her husband, Mike of Revere; dear brother of Maria Luongo of Canada, Mary Bonugli of Revere, Orazio Martiniello, Jr. of Lynn, Rosemarie Hudson of Revere and the late Francesca, Peter and Anna; cherished nonno of Susan, Louis, Michael, Jenna and Jeanine. Luigi is also lovingly survived by six great grandchildren; Emilia, Louis, George, Tessa, Luigi and Luca.

His Funeral will be from the Paul Buonfiglio &Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere on Saturday, March 19 at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony’s Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Richard K. Lino of Revere, formerly of East Boston, passed away unexpectedly on March 4,. He was 51 years old.

 Aformer member of Local # 6 Asbestos and Insulators Union, he was the cherished and devoted son of Patricia (DiBenedetto) Lino and the late Richard Lino; loving father of Robert Gaskell, Amanda Gaskell, Brittany Lino and Richard Lino; dear brother of Stephen Lino of Bellflower, California and the late Mark Lino and adored grandfather of Royale Tate and Anthony Harris-Lino.

He was the beloved husband of Luigina (Racca) Pisaturo;; devoted father of Anna Giangregorio and her husband, Angelo of Revere, Josephine Mestone and her husband, Richard of Lynn, Mary Stoico and her husband, David Cristino,Victoria Pisaturo and her companion, Anthony Ciampi, all of Revere; dear brother of Carmen Pisaturo of Peabody.Teresa Caranza of East Boston, Massimina Guarino.of Revere, Immacolata Basile of Australia and Grace Rosato of Venezula. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many chersished nieces and nephews.
