On Monday Boston Public School students staged a district-wide walkout to protest proposed budget cuts to school in East Boston and across the city. Over 1000 students marched to Faneuil Hall across the street from City Hall demanding that the Mayor and School Committee reconsider the cuts to fill a $40 million budget deficit.
