Kudos to NOAH’s youth crew and their director Chris Marchi for the very impressive rehab of the park and community garden on Border Street.
The crew not only learned a valuable lesson about helping to shape and restore a community but again learned about how to do things environmentally friendly.
The crew completed the task using zero carbon emissions.
No power tools.
No gas mower.
No powered leaf blower.
They did it all by hand and set the example of how parks should be cleaned in the city from now on.
If Boston wants to be a truly ‘Green’ city they can look no further than the amazing accomplishment of the youth crew at the local park and garden on Border Street.
The work there took nothing more than elbow grease and imagination–and nothing that would impact the environment.
