Robert Yantosca

Decorated Veteran, volunteer at
Don Orione Nursing Home and St. Lazarus Parish in East Boston

Robert V. “Bob” Yantosca of Newtonville, formerly of Revere and East Boston, passed away on July 13. He was 92 years old.

Robert was a past usher at St.Lazarus Parish, a member of the Holy Name Society, St. Lazarus School, a volunteer at the Don Orione Nursing Home, a member of the St.Joseph-St.Lazarus and Don Orione Choir and a decorated US Navy veteran of World War II and Korea.

The beloved husband of Tomasina (Belmonte) Yantosca, he was the devoted father of John Yantosca and his wife, Joanne of Texas, Anthony Yantosca and his wife, Jane of North Haven, CT and Robert M. Yantosca and his wife, Lucia of Watertown; dear brother of the late Joseph, Angelo, Louis and Ernest Yantosca and Rose Zaino and Edna Tavano; cherished grandfather of seven and great grandfather of two. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

His Funeral will be held from the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St., Orient Heights East Boston on Thursday, July 18 at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Celebration of his life at St. Joseph- St. Lazarus Church, Ashley Street, East Boston at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Audrey Babine

Of Dorchester, formerly of East Boston

Audrey E. Babine of Dorchester, formerly of East Boston, passed away on July 12. She was 49 years old.

The loving mother of Amanda Babine of New York, NY and Helena Capolupo of East Boston, she was the dear sister of Linda Ciulla and John Babine, both of East Boston, Kathy Palermo of Revere and Diane Babine of East Boston and grandmother of Meliina. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St., East Boston on Saturday, July 20 at 3 p.m. Visitation with the family prior to the service will commence at noon. Ignazio John Milito

Civic Club Member

Ignazio John Milito of Orient Heights East Boston died on July 14.

A US Navy veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Civic Club of East Boston, he was the beloved husband of Judith (Wilkes); loving son of the late Joseph and Annie Milito; cherished father of Deborah Milito of Tewksbury, John Milito and his wife, Doreen of Saugus, Joseph Milito and his wife, Debra of Revere, Robert LaVigueur and his wife, Sandra of Winthrop, Paul LaVigueur of East Boston, Debbie LaVigueur of East Boston and Dana LaVigueur-Rossetti of Winthrop; dear brother of Rose Owen of Medford, Frances Germano and her husband, Domenic of Tewksbury and the late Ignazio and Salvatore Milito. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held from Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 252 Beach St., Revere on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, Winthrop at 10 a.m. Family and friends may visit today, Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Albert ‘Libby’ Annese

Charlestown Naval Shipyard

Albert R. “Libby” Annese of Revere, formerly of Cottage Street, East Boston, passed away July 10 surrounded by his family. He was in his 91st year.

“Libby” was a US Navy veteran of World War II, retired from the Charlestown Naval Shipyard, Longfellow Apartments and a member of the Progressive Club.

He was the beloved husband of Antoinette (Poccio)  Annese  with whom he shared 62   years of marriage; loving father of Anne Marie West and her husband, Vernon and Albert Annese and his wife, Toni all of Peabody; dear brother of Joseph Annese and his wife, Jeanie of Roslindale, and the late John “Hubby,” Rose, Jean, Maria, Lucy and Anthony Annese; cherished  Puppi of Jackie, Vernon and Samantha West and Alyssa, Ashley, Dominic and Dylan Annese.
